The train stretching across the spans of the famous Rockville Bridge in Marysville is none other than hometown hobo, Train 30T. It originates in Canadian National‘s Tashereau Yard in Montreal, Canada where it makes its way down the CN to Rouses Point, NY. From there, it travels on Canadian Pacific as Train 930 and into Saratoga Yard (or maybe even Mohawk Yard) where it becomes Norfolk Southern Train 30T and is brought south through Binghamton, NY, Scranton and Sunbury, Pa. and finally terminating at Enola Yard.

Looking at it from a distance, what makes this train uniquely 30T are the blocks of CN boxcars, centerbeam flatcars and the bright green tarped flatcar (up front near the locomotives)….

I’ve seen this train over a hundred times at home in Scranton, but today this train is different…. Norfolk Southern Train 30T is crossing the world famous Rockville Bridge in Norfolk Southern’s third largest rail hub known as Harrisburg, Pa..
