I haven’t been following the Delaware-Lackawanna shortline very much over the past 8 months so it was a surprise to me to hear that all interchange between them and Norfolk Southern had been moved to Slateford Jct.. As always Canadian Pacific was the antagonist and instigator of it all and had I not been duly informed, I would have never known about it.

Whatever the case, it appears that the interchange between the DL and NS is indeed back in Taylor as seen by two different SB3 grain trains (one on December 8 and the other on December 18, 2015) coming out of Taylor and off of the NS mainline and moving into Steamtown and onward to Harvest States Milling (Ardent Mills) in Mt. Pocono, Pa..
