Did 11R and 14R roll through Monday morning too? I saw W7T taking my girlfriend to work along the expressway. Heard 11R heading down through Buttonwood. After leaving an appointment in Dickson City at 930 I heard the one but sounded like two trains heading up North (past Nicholson) when I caught it. They were pulling the Track Orders for 648-631 and 629 to Container as soon as one was done. Thanks for shedding some light as to what I missed!

      Glad I could help….

The Train that you heard @ Buttonwood was probably the M1R (an 11R Extra) as they came through Scranton @ around 06:00 on Monday morning…. For the record, there was also an M1R on Tuesday morning that I heard on the scanner….

Yes, there was also an 11R and 14R which would have come through sometime in the dark…. Maybe even the night before…. The train that you heard (saw?) getting the track orders was probably the 14R as they outlawed in Hop Bottom at some point through the night and the W7T went past them there.

Throwing some more into this…. 36T came through the area @ around 06:00 (on Monday morning I think) with a CSX #474 in the lead…. Today, 14R came up in the early morning darkness with a Canadian National leader and around 8:00 p.m. this evening 14R came up with #8797 (D9-40C) in the lead but I was too tired to go out and visually see it.
