NS K65(?) or Delaware-Lackawanna Special or something at Steamtown….

I came across the Delaware Lackawanna yesterday with a most unusual train. One D-L Alco, #3642 and Genessee Valley #2045 led a short 5-car special of sorts in front of the Tower 60 at Steamtown @ 6 p.m..

The consist of the train was a Norfolk Southern utility boxcar of some type, and an authentic Erie-Lackawanna Diner car, the City of Lima Sleeper car, another unnamed passenger car and that tacky D-L caboose which ruined the end of the NKP #765 excursions over the Labor Day 2015 holiday.

Don’t know much about this train however this morning I heard the engineer of #3642 down in Taylor Yard calling out the symbol K65. Because of the NS boxcar in the consist this could’ve been a joint operation but in all that’s all I know about this train. If you know something about this train, please share your knowledge with our viewers in the comments below.
