Finger Lakes Railway (FGLK)

The Finger Lakes Railway (FGLK) is a class 3 shortline operating in Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, Ontario, Schuyler and Yates counties in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The railroad began operations in July 1995 and also operates a heritage railroad offering passenger train excursions.

For such a small road, the Finger Lakes is an important link to and from local industries. Interchanging with the CSX, the Norfolk Southern and with connections to Canadian Pacific via NS, the FGLK’s reach is often nationwide with FGLK-owned rail cars showing up as far away as Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, New Jersey, Maine, California and Ontario and British Columbia, Canada.

The Finger Lakes Railway is operated by the Grainbelt Corporation.
